A Preschool Birthday

Since Mycah had school on her birthday, we had a little party with her friends there. She chose vanilla cupcakes with chocolate icing. The girls got Princess plates and the boys got "Woody and BuzzLight" (that's always how she refers to anything Toy Story-she argued with us on the Lightyear point).

Her friends had fun celebrating with us, and I had fun finally putting names with faces.

On the evening of her special day we met Daddy at the mall for dinner and her treat, which was a trip to the Disney store with Daddy. She picked out her present: a Jasmine doll with extra outfits and a fancy Princess cup. She was over-the-moon excited about this birthday treat. The Disney store is in a mall that we don't frequent, and she just discovered it last month. Since then she has asked me on a couple of occasions, "Remember that store with all the Princesses? Maybe we can go there one day and buy something."
