Happy Valentine's Day

Ours started with a Royal Valentine Tea at the Library on Saturday. I escorted Mycah and we met our friends Laila and Ms. Diane there. The girls really enjoyed the pampering, in spite of the huge crowd.

Today we started the day right with heart shaped cinnamon rolls (yum),

and lots of cards. If you look closely you can see a theme: Princesses and cars. These are a few of our favorite things. And you may also notice 2 of the same Snow White card! Awesome Grandmas think alike! After a trip to Target and a quick photo in the big red circle and forgetting Mama's bag in the shopping cart and turning around to find that someone had turned it in to Customer Service (thank you Lord for honest people!)...
we went to one of Mama's favorite places for lunch. Cafe Carolina. No trip to the Cafe would be complete without a famous blue cupcake. That is, in fact, why it is one of Mama's favorite places. If you have not experienced this delectable treat of yumminess yet, please go. Today. In honor of the day, we chose pink/red/white cupcakes instead of the traditional Carolina blue. I honestly wish you all could have experienced that with us. (Plus it would have helped me with clean-up!)

It was a gorgeous day outside so we spent the afternoon riding bikes and playing on the swing set...finally! Oh, and posing.
