Heart Day

Today is heart day. Pink heart day. Today our sweet friend Charlotte is having her 3rd heart surgery. You can read her story and follow her progress this week on her family's blog. Charlotte (and her family) is one of our dearest friends. We love her courage. I hope her story inpsires you too.

In honor of Charlotte, Mycah had her nails painted in Mary Kay Pink Sand. Some of you may be interested (and astonished) to know that she sat at that table long enough for her finger nails and toe nails to dry!
And today's ensemble includes denim bermuda shorts with heart pockets and contrasting pink stiching, complimented by a pale pink ruffled shirt.

Daddy's even wearing his pink tie today.
