Easter Birthday

This year was a special Easter. For the only time in her life, Mimi's birthday fell on Easter Sunday-her favorite holiday. Naturally, we flew to Indianapolis to help her celebrate both her life and the Life we have received from Jesus. It was an awesome weekend! The kids really are excellent travelers and this was one of our best flights yet. (Of course bribery helps. Oh yes we did.)

So here's a sampling of how the kids have fun at Mimi and Papa's:

And this is how Mama, Daddy and SisE have fun at Mimi and Papa's: A lunch at Friendly's Tavern just the 3 of us, shopping at the best Goodwill Store on the planet, massages at Massage Envy, oh, and getting to drive one of the Indy 500 pace cars-a Camero convertible.
Our Easter Sunday worship was just amazing. The kids did an inside egg hunt because it was raining. Then the birthday celebration included a variety of cakes and Chicago-style pizza.

You are stronger, You are stronger

Sin is broken, You have saved me

It is written Christ is risen

Jesus, You are Lord of All

Hi Tim and Amy... and of course, Miss Mycah and Master Caleb!

Just catching up on your blog a bit. Mimi encouraged me to take a look at the big girl bed pics! And, oh - the Easter Birthday celebration looked like pure joy!

Thanks for sharing your lives in word and pictures. So fun!

Blessings,
Sharon
