Ballet Shoes

For years now I have adored the Shoe Books, a series of children's books by Noel Streatfeild, my favorite being Ballet Shoes. A couple years ago the BBC produced the movie Ballet Shoes based on the book. I recently bought it, so today Mycah and I had a movie afternoon. After Caleb went down for a long winter's nap, we popped popcorn on the stove and snuggled in to watch it. She lost interest in much of the British dialogue...whenever there was no dancing. She asked a fair amount of questions...mostly, "When will they show the pink dancers again?" But I think she enjoyed it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

And here's how we spent the rest of the afternoon:
Caleb was trying so hard to watch Cars in peace. He finally gave in and sat with me in his assigned seat to watch the "show". It was a fun day.
