Thanksgiving

I do realize how belated this post is, but nevertheless, here it is.

We had the joy of spending Thanksgiving morning as a family...meaning Tim didn't have to work! I think that's the first time since we've been married. We headed over to Aunt Kim and Uncle Gregg's for the rest of our day and Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed being in their new home and sharing in the preparations for the yummy dinner.

Of course, the kids love to harass Elliot and Sidney from the other side of the door. Thankfully it was a nice day and the dogs were able to stay outside so that Mycah could stay inside. I think they were a little upset about us eating that good smelling meat and not sharing, but they got some treats before the day was over. (The dogs I mean. The kids could have cared less about the turkey.)
The after-dinner duo tickle/ride-a-horsey. This is one reason we love having an uncle around!
On Friday, the girls took Mycah to see Tangled, the new Disney Rapunzel movie. She was so excited. She went to each boy in the house and told them they could not come because it was a girl movie. (No complaints there!) The movie was in 3D. Mycah kept her glasses on for the first part... Needless-to-say, she was mesmerized the entire time.

It's overstated, but we do have so much to be thankful for...this year in particular. Uncle Gregg is home safely and with a job in Wake Forest so our family is close again. Tim has a new job with a wonderful company and we have been blessed beyond measure this year by God's faithful provision for us.

We hope you and yours also had a memorable and yummy Thanksgiving.
