Friday afternoon was spent wrangling the rather hyper tots at the Hair Salon. Ms Liz and I have both bragged on how good Mycah and Caleb are for hair cuts. "They sit so still!" Well, that came back to bite us. Neither of them sat still. Caleb wouldn't even sit in the chair. By the end, we were all 3 covered in hairs from head to foot. I really matured as a person that afternoon. Letting my son wriggle around my lap without a cape for a haircut was not in the realm of possibility pre-motherhood. How Liz got such such good, even cuts is beyond me. She is such a pro!
What made up for the stress of the appointment was getting to see cousin Laura! Her appointment was right after ours. She was getting color so Ms Liz gave the kids a taste of grown-up hair stuff.
