Adventures in the ER

Last night I had my first taste of peanut butter by recommendation of my pediatrician since I'm not eating meat at all. After 2 small bites I had a reaction that took us to the ER. I was breathing fine, but my bottom lip "swolled up" pretty good. Mama was a little freaked out, but Daddy was cool as a cucumber. After steroids and 2+ hours of observation, in which I was observed to be bouncing off the walls of my purple room, we got to come home. One benefit of hyperactivity as a result of steroids is that I got to see Michael Phelps win 2 more gold medals when I would have otherwise been asleep. I got to witness a piece of Olympic history and make a little history of my own. All is well.

I now have my very own Epi Pen and no more peanut butter!
