Competition

I thought I ought to get a post up quick, so that Aunt Kim doesn't leave me for some new guy. Dad says his name is Liam. He seems cute enough, but what is she doing holding him already?
Last weekend, when Daddy was working, Mommy took me to the Shive Chicken Fry. Grandaddy's family has been doing 'em for a long time. I got to meet lots of neat new people, and Aunt Kim came to see me...how quickly she forgets.
I went for a walk with Sammer (he came over so Mama Jenn could do some work) on Monday, and I got to wear my new shades.
Then Mommy showed me how to wear them on the top of my head when it isn't sunny outside. She said it would keep my hair out of my eyes at some point, but it doesn't really do that for Mommy or Daddy. I had a pretty good week all around. I got to do one of my favorite things which is watching my Baby Einstein video. It is very entertaining and Mommy says it is even educational...or at least good for me to watch at this age. I learned how to recline from Granddaddy.
I got to sit at the "Big People" table for the first time. I got to use my chair from Miss Regina.
I was trying to get some of the sweet tea, but Nana said I was too sweet already. Yeah, but I am still thirsty...maybe one day.
Make sure you keep Sammer's Mamma in your prayers. She is in a whole 'nother country. I miss her, and I won't get to eat lunch with her this week.
