I love reading. I love writing. But I have been a terrible blogger. There you go.
It's summer. That brings to mind lazy days of lounging. That's not really what we've had going on around here. Things are constantly changing, and I suppose that's just life-how it's supposed to be.
I'm back to blogging our goings-on.
For starters, in the theme of "change", Mycah and Caleb are the proud owners of 3 Painted Lady Larvae. Nana & Grandad visited Callaway Gardens in Georgia a few weeks ago and brought the kids a Butterfly Hatching Kit. We sent off for the Larvae and they arrived today! I've never seen two people so excited about worms...excuse me, caterpillars. They are thrilled. I hope the little critters make it. There was condensation in the cup which supposedly isn't the best news for the larvae, but what do you expect. It's upwards of 100 degrees with humidity to choke a cow. We'll keep you posted...
Until then, check out some pictures from our weekend. We made a road trip to visit some best friends. Our visit to the Touseys in Maryland has been a long time coming, and so wonderfully worth it. The kids had a fabulous time together. We did not have to referee the 4 of them once. Not once. And we have progressed to a season of kids playing in one room while adults talk in another. Wow, that was nice! As we drove away, Tim and I agreed that regular visits are a must. Thanks for being such fabulous hosts!
