HALLOWEEN

Halloween night began with a yummy dinner at Hailee & Hannah's house. We managed to get 4 picky, allergic kids fed and dressed in costumes before all the candy in the neighborhood was gone. That was a feat.

Trying to get a picture of the 4 of them together was another feat. This is the best we could do.

Hailee was dressed as Cinderella and Mycah as her Fairy Godmother. She put that together herself. Impressive. Don't you love her pose?!

The big girls knew just what to do. They had been practicing. Mycah would tell Caleb, "You knock on the door and say, 'trick-or-treat' and then you say, 'thank you'." She left Caleb in her fairy dust though.

Let me assure you, he did not care one bit. He was more excited about running wild in the neighborhood. GRRRRR!

Everyone we passed got a big kick out of him...especially the tail.

On the stroller ride home, Mycah got hold of the camera. We had about 15 of these, along with a few of the legs of unsuspecting neighbors. We actually heard her say, "Smile sidewalk. Say cheese!"

Evaluating the loot, Mycah reminded us she loves chocolate. And she actually picked out the chocolate candies, even though she has never eaten so much as 1 little M&M. How does she know?

I don't know if you can really tell from this picture, but it was so warm and Caleb got so hot in his tiger costume that his curls just kinked up in the back. Just when you thought it couldn't get any cuter, it does!

Caleb is chewing on a Crunch bar through the wrapper. Oh well.

And the post-game break-down.

"No more running in the street? No more candy? Fine. I'm out."

Oh my, what a fun night! I can't get over Caleb trotting around in his little tiger suit. And Miss Mycah is too much. Fairy Godmother... perfect!
