This was a very different July 4th for us. Gregg deployed this week, so there's been a lot of emotion in the house: sadness, pride, uncertainty...not to say anything of the hormones of a postpartum mother and two teething babies. The celebration of our country's independence was put in perspective for us. The sacrifices so many have made to give us our freedom is astounding and closer to home than ever before. I wondered how we should best celebrate. I decided one of the best ways is by embracing and enjoying our freedom while remembering the price that has been paid. So say a prayer for Gregg and all the service men and women around the world who are fighting not just to preserve our freedom but to help others find theirs...and remember those who came before us and laid the foundation for the life we live today. And go out and enjoy your life. You have the freedom to make choices, so make good ones.
I would love for you to read
Gregg's last post to get a better understanding of what he's facing this year and to know how you can support him in prayer.

We love you Uncle Gregg!
