Easter

Easter was...going to be a quiet day. Daddy was home! Church was lovely. Everyone's outfit turned out smashing. We would take long naps and watch the Masters. Very nice indeed.

Except that the 2 smallest people in the Pitman family didn't want to coorporate at all for lovely Easter pictures. One insisted on having a plug in her mouth. The other wouldn't sit still. The joys of planned pictures with a toddler and an infant. They don't work.

Naps were not so long, little people were a little whiny; therefore, our coverage of the Masters didn't end until after bedtime.

But the Good News is Jesus Rose! He defeated death and sin and fatigue and whiny attitudes! While our Easter wasn't perfect, it was perfectly redeemed.

Mycah took this one. :)

Absolutely priceless and very well stated. (Jesus didn't exactly come to fit into the status quo either; he disrupted the routine himself - even when he was a "little person" in a stable!) Thanks for sharing. Made my day!
