Caleb's Dedication

We had a very busy weekend because we dedicated Caleb at church on Sunday. Mimi, Papa and Gigi flew in, Granny and Aunt Sharon drove up from Georgia, and Nana and Granddaddy came.

On Friday night we met Mimi, Papa, Gigi, Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen for dinner. I learned to climb trees while we were waiting. Now I would like to climb all the trees I see, thank you very much.

I just can't even begin to tell you how fun it is to have all 4 grandparents at my house at the same time! Throw in both great-grandmas and woa - you got one HAPPY little girl and boy!

This was the first time Aunt Sharon got to meet Caleb and believe you me, she got her sugar! And they brought gifts, which is just what family does!

We had 2 birthdays to celebrate: Papa's and Nana's. Mama made a birthday cake and I helped blow out the candles.

I think you've heard how much I love cards.

But of course, the point of the whole weekend was Sunday's service. We got all dressed up; I wore my pretty necklace, and I went into big church to watch.

But, it was not all about me! We were celebrating our handsome little mister. I mean, just look at him.

"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." I Cor. 15:58

Mycah, you are the best little story teller. And your brother is a handsome mister. And your Mama is sassy! (And don't even get me started on how cute you are- my eyeballs can hardly take it!)
