Catch-up, Daddy, not Ketchup

Just a little catch-up note for everyone. I am preparing for a couple of big trips in the next few weeks, but thought I would fill you in on what I have been up to. A few weekends ago, Daddy took one of his golfer students to a tournament out of town, so Aunt Kim came to stay with me to help Mommy. I had fun with my Aunt Kim, but I missed my Daddy. I kept saying his name all weekend, but he didn't come home until Sunday night. I am a full fledged crawler now, and I like to stand up whenever I can find something to pull up on.
Hey, you would chew on it too, if you had tooths coming in.That's right, I am a big girl with a toof (that is how Daddy says it).
And, I am wearing shoes now. Mommy bought me the cutest pair of brown Mary-Jane's...you'll have to see them sometime soon. They're all cute, but I don't really like putting them on. Daddy told me there would come a time when I would be begging him to buy me shoes...he said probably some cute strappy black shoes, or a 400th pair of flip-flops to match Aunt Kim's, but I just rolled my eyes at him. (How does he know these girl secrets already?...Mommy told me not to tell boys stuff like that.)
Anyways, I went to the Doctor for my nine month check-up, and she said I was perfect. That is what Mimi and Nana have been saying all along, but it is nice to have it confirmed by a professional.
So this week I am supposedly going to get on a thing called an airplane. We are going to see Mimi, Papa, Aunt E, and GG in Nashville. Apparently it is a whole 'nother state away. Rumor has it Mommy bought me some new toys just for the flights, but I haven't seen them yet...I'll keep you posted.
The next week we hop in a car and head to see Nana, Granddaddy, Granny, Aunt Kim and her Gregg in Greenville where I imagine everyone will be Giving-Thanks that I am there...isn't that how this holiday works? So look for that post in a few weeks. Tonight I get to go stay with Sammer and his cool parents.
If you don't hear from me...enjoy your turkey...but don't be one.
See ya.
