Super Blog

I have been gone for quiet a while I know. But Mom and Dad did this thing called a "vacation" and they wouldn't bring my computer, so I was not able to post. So this will be a big one.

Our "vacation" started with a big family get together. My Great-Grandad turned 80. He and everyone in Ohio (well not the whole state, but the whole family) came down and Mimi, Papa, and Aunt Liz came over from Tennessee and got together with all the Pitmans in NC for a big celebration. I met a lot of new people. They were all really nice, but I can't list them all here...plus I figured you would want pictures more than words.

We stayed in a hotel that night and I got to see more of Mimi and Papa and Aunt Liz in the morning. Then Mommy and Daddy and I left for the beach. (My Papa really likes chocolate, so he got me this shirt that says, "Way Sweeter Than Chocolate". I think he loves me.)

We're finally here!
I really liked the beach. But I didn't really like taking naps down there. Mommy and Daddy kept wanting me to sleep, but I don't get to have Daddy around so much and the beach is fun, so I didn't want to nap.

For the most part, I was good at the restaurants. At this one, I wanted to sit in the booth with Mama and play with everything in my bag. Isn't that why we brought it?

At this restaurant we got to sit outside and I discovered Daddy's hat. I think it's really swell and it keeps the sun out of my eyes.

Finally, Daddy did find me sleeping hard in this position. It was comfortable to me, and I was finally sleeping like he told me to, so I don't know what the big deal is.

I am eating a lot better. I like this real food stuff. I am even learning to help Mommy keep track of my feedings....where is the check for butternut squash?

And I got my first shiner on my cheek. I fell against a night stand trying to pull myself up. Mama was packing up my stuff and not paying a bit of attention. Well, maybe she was paying a little bit of attention, but she wasn't quick enough to catch me. I don't mind though. It looks tough doesn't it?

I have more to share this week...talk to you soon!
